Coastal and Marine Botany educational trip

Protected Marine Area of Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo

The video shows Marine Sciences students during the educational trip of the Marine and Coastal Botany course in Sardinia at the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo. On the first day the students learned how to recognize the coastal vegetation through dichotomous keys and how to sample seagrasses and seaweeds along the coast. The second day was dedicated to the microscope identification of the collected samples and to the visit of the seat of the Protected Marine Area.
